Parmeet Singh Boparai is an engineer, small business owner, and dedicated community advocate who has called northeast Calgary home for years.
Before being elected as the MLA for Calgary-Falconridge, Parmeet built his career in mechanical and power engineering while serving his community in leadership roles — as president of the Dashmesh Culture Centre, chairman of Khalsa School Calgary, and as a mentor to youth including those pursuing careers in the Canadian Armed Forces. He has also volunteered with organizations focused on mental health, substance use, and anti-bullying.
As Shadow Minister for Service Alberta and Consumer Protection, Parmeet is fighting to make sure government services work for everyday Albertans and that consumers are protected from unfair practices.
He lives in Calgary-Falconridge with his wife and two children.
